India has a long way to go... TRAI defines "broadband" as 256 kbps and above. Indian ISP's have data-transfer based plans, time based plans, prepaid plans, and then finally the most expensive unlimited plans.Compare this to what's available in countries like Singapore and America, where broadband is a minimum of 2-5 Mbps, and most home broadband plans are 10 Mbps or more. Even 100 Mbps is available for those who can afford, and 1 Gbps is coming soon!In such countries, all plans (I say that again, ALL plans) are fully unlimited, so a data-transfer based plan or time-based plan is simply something unimaginable in these countries.Really, India is still backward by 10 years in Internet technology. It's just so sad that this country has not yet caught up with the others.

It’s so sad..
