I am a facebook fan and I upload photos to my facebook albums. But I find it difficult using facebook image uploader. You can upload the photos very easily using Picasa and the Facebook plugin for picasa.
Installing Picasa and Facebook plugin
- Install Picasa 2 or 3 for Windows or Mac – You can download it from http://picasa.google.com/
- Install the plugin
Using Picasa Facebook plugin to upload photos
- Open picasa and select photos to upload.
- Click the “Facebook” button
- Login using your facebook account
- Select the album and upload photos
- Select the photos and approve album. You are done

PS: Facebook is still restricting third-party applications (e.g. the Picasa uploader) to the old limit of 60 photos.

Oh!, seems nice!!
Now we only need that with Picasa’s face detection tags on facebook albums itself
